What Happened To Me? A Long Overdue Update

So, whatever the hell happened to me, you ask? I'm gonna give you one word: WORK

I have job. Yay. Finally. Money. Earning citizen. Gotta pay my taxes you know. That sort of thing. I've been working for roughly eight months now. If you follow me on Twitter then you know what sort of work I'm doing. If not, well, you better follow me on Twitter now and I will give you a gif or two of what I'm doing.

Can't figure it out? Okay fine. So, I teach/talk to students over the phone at night. Simple. So there. Work has been absolutely CRAZY. LITERALLY. I mean, sure, I like what I'm doing. But sometimes, it's really stressful. Add to that the stress I get from TRAFFIC. (Hello, EDSA!) I spend a good two hours on the road going to work and going home. 

But, on the good side, I can spend time reading books or sleeping on the road. I read and reread so much already. I haven't been able to post any reviews on the blog or on Goodreads even. I think I forgot how already.

But anyways, there. Work has been keeping me really busy. That and, I have been quite obsessed with KPop (AGAIN!) and Korean dramas lately.

I may or may not post a list of all the dramas that I have watched or is currently watching. But there are a lot already.

My life. Or, well, how I'm living it anyways. I can't promise that I will be back with the regular programming(?) over at the blog but I will try. If not, well, catch up with me on Twitter. I love you all!

I went to the Ayala Musuem with my brother and my cousin. It was an awesome day because for one, the Ayala Museum was filled with amazing works from Filipino artists like Fernando Zobel and Juan Luna. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to take a photo in the Contemporary Art floor. The Philippine Diorama however, was the coolest thing I have ever seen. A whole floor filled with Philippine history, some parts that aren't even in history textbooks. Here's my photo with the National Hero Jose Rizal who stands just a mere two inches above me.

Our flight in Cebu got delayed by two hours...as expected even if it wasn't peak season like summer or Christmas. Nonetheless, the one hour and forty minutes journey to Cebu made me cry, because parting with Manila was like parting with a loved one.

I'm Back!

Okay, like, this is for freaking real! I'M BACK, BLOGGING WORLD~!

My last update was a month ago. Whew~ I have so many things to say but I don't know what to say. Does that even make sense?

Nonetheless, I've spent a lot of time trying to clear out my TBR pile so yaay for me. Wait for reviews because they are coming your way.

You guys don't know how much I miss you guys and how much I miss writing review for you guys. But don't worry. I have awesome stuff in store for you guys so just wait, okay?

LIFE UPDATE: Where Am I?

Oh hey~ I'm not dead. It's just that I am currently somewhere new. I don't remember if I talked about it already but I moved to Cebu this month and I'll be living in Cebu for...I don't know how long.

Okay so for non-Filipinos reading this, Cebu is a province located way down south of Manila. It can take an hour and forty five minutes tops by plane and probably two days by sea. It's famouse for being the seat of Catholicism when Spaniards conquered the Philippines. Cebu has nice beaches, even nicer than the famed Boracay Island. The people here speak a different dialect and so for someone who grew up in Manila and spoke Tagalog all her life, it feels like I'm in a different country all together.

I've been vacationing here when I was a kid but I never picked up the language. I'll learn along the way...someday.

So, new home, new place, new neighbors, no friends. Well, what a challenge. Also more challenging, not having internet connection at home.

We'll get it installed one day...don't worry. So far, I don't have my library with me. Seventy percent of it is in Manila and I miss them very much. For now, I'll probably go on and finish my TBR pile and regular programming aka my blog posts will come up afterwards. Don't know when. But it will happen. Trust. Me.
